Homelessness has risen dramatically over the last decade, with rough sleeping just the visible tip of the iceberg. Families up and down the UK and Ireland are sofa surfing, sleeping in their cars or living in hostels or B&Bs. While thousands of others are faced with the difficult choice of paying their rent or feeding their families; and with the ever-rising cost of living, many more families are now at risk of becoming homeless.
Home is more than bricks and mortar. It’s the foundation of all our lives. But right now, millions of people across UK & Ireland are without this basic need. That is why IKEA UK & Ireland is partnering with Shelter and their partners* to ensure more people have a safe and secure place to call home.
All donations raised through this page will go towards Shelter and their partners’ national and local frontline services across the UK and Ireland to help ensure that by 2030, half a million people have access to a better life at home. Together we will empower people to transform their lives.
